Last time I worked in a Singaporean company where my lead programmer strictly forbid me to write comment. When I wrote some comments in my part he said he did not like it and we do not need such comment. He said using our editor we can easily navigate code. I quit after 2 months as I faced more problem under his leadership.

I developed some iOS apps in 2011 which I still upgrade or add new features as my apps generate money. I wrote many comments which still helps me to find out why I was wrote some code. Over 8 years I still can maintain my apps because of my comments.

Writing comment in the code is the best thing I had ever done for my own projects which generates thousands of money regularly.
